I found the Budget Inn Express to be quite clean and all amenities worked seamlessly. The new owner has made sure the staff is pleasant and attentive, and the mini fridge and microwave in my King Room were convenient. Plus, the price was just fantastic at $47 a night!
Amenities lacked consistent maintenance.

The staff was super friendly, and our room had a mini fridge and coffee maker, a nice surprise. We explored local spots like the Morris Museum of Art and enjoyed the vibrant music scene .
I did notice that the bathroom cleanliness was an issue. It could definitely use some attention.

great price, convenient location, reliable internet
The facility needs thorough cleaning!!! A disgusting shower with soap scum, dreadful bathroom conditions, and stained sheets reflect poorly on management!!! The disturbing lack of maintenance for the bathroom door and power outlets is unacceptable!!!

We had a fun visit to the Imagination Station Children's Museum in Augusta. Our kids loved all the interactive exhibits and the chance to explore. The staff at the hotel were friendly.
My wife says that the cleanliness could be drastically improved.

will choose it for sure next trip.
The room had air conditioning, a tv, and private bathroom. There was a microwave and refrigerator too, super convenient. Loved the little seating area and all essentials worked fine. The spa facilities were a nice touch to unwind after a long day. Great for what I needed!

I stayed in the King Room for 2 nights, and it was pretty bad. The room felt old and dingy, and the sheets were stained. Towels had holes, just gross. The Wi-Fi was weak, made things more frustrating. At least the staff was nice, but overall, it didn't meet my expectations.
